Progressive, reliable, IP – these were the requirements of the access control system sought by the management board of the IT Campus building in the German city of Braunschweig. Take a look at how 2N faced this challenge.
The whole IT Campus building is guarded from the outside by 2N® IP Verso intercoms with a colour touchscreen and RFID reader. Inside, access is controlled by 28 2N® Access Unit RFID readers. Bulk administration of the whole system is ensured by 2N® Access Commander. An indisputable advantage of IP access control by 2N is the ability to use existing LAN infrastructure. In addition, door communicators and access control units are powered via ethernet cables. Thanks to modules with RFID card readers, the presence of workers and visitors in the building can also be monitored.
